St. Andrew’s Lower School is a lively center for learning through development of the whole child. The curriculum builds on skills developed in pre-K and kindergarten, and uses an active, hands-on approach that makes learning exciting, fun, and contagious.

The language arts program includes opportunities for pleasure reading and self-expression. Math skills are incorporated into routine parts of the day, and children look forward to performing experiments in the well-equipped science lab. Instruction in foreign language, visual art, music, physical education, and computer skills are taught at every grade level. Students in pre-K4 through fourth grade gather as a community for a weekly chapel service; families are welcome to attend.

Lower School classes are limited to 20 students, ensuring one-on-one attention for every child. A learning facilitator is available in kindergarten through fourth grade to reinforce and strengthen academic skills.
