St. Andrew’s Episcopal School will be offering Driver Education classes starting May 31, 2011.
- Registration starts February 15, 2011.
- Registration is on a first-come-first-serve basis. When all slots are full, registration will be closed.
- Only those students who pay in advance will be guaranteed a slot in the class.
- Eighth grade students must be at least 14 years old by June 1 to qualify for a special driver education class permit only.
- Parents must register by email in care of Coach Joe Ray, Director of Driver Education.
The fee for classroom and driving instruction is $325.00. The fee is due in full by May 31, 2011.

All classroom time will be held on St. Andrew’s North Campus in the Center for Performing Arts. Student must be present for all classroom meetings.
Classroom times are as follows:
- May 31st 8:30 – 3:00 need to bring sack lunch.
- June 1st 8:30 – 3:00 need to bring sack lunch.
- June 2nd 8:30 – 3:00 need to bring sack lunch.
- June 3rd 8:30 – 3:00 need to bring sack lunch.
- All students must be available to drive during the month of June.
Driving times will be assigned to students by June 2. Driving will take place June 5 – July 2. There will be a second driving class available for the month of July as well, but for only 20 spots. All students must take the classroom instruction in June.
For any unexcused absences for classroom or driving times, a fee will be charged to the student to make up the time that was missed. There will be a fee of $30.00 for each missed classroom hour and $40.00 for each missed driving session.
