Academically motivated students of all races, creeds, cultural, and economic backgrounds who, along with their families, believe in and support the mission, philosophy, goals, and policies of St. Andrew’s Episcopal School are encouraged to apply. Once the application process is complete, the Admissions Committee will determine, based on the applicant’s qualifications and the space available, whether the applicant will be offered a contract.
Although there is no guarantee that siblings of current St. Andrew’s Episcopal School students will be accepted, the school recognizes the benefit of having all children in a family enrolled in the same school. Therefore, siblings of current St. Andrew’s students are given preferential consideration. Children of faculty members and alumni are also given special consideration.
The number of qualified applicants to St. Andrew’s Episcopal School may exceed the space available at each grade level. An applicant waiting pool is established for each grade already filled for the academic year. When an opening occurs, the Admissions Committee considers all applicants in the waiting pool and determines which applicant will be accepted. A new waiting pool is established each academic year.
